As the first AF-compatible Cine Lens series from Sigma, the Sigma AF Cine
Line brings innovation to the film production scene.

Building on the optical system of Sigma’s Art lenses, the AF Cine Line offers
exceptional rendering performance, along with high-precision autofocus
with excellent tracking capability, combined with the ergonomics required
for professional cinema production.

This allows it to handle multiple shooting styles and on-set environments
that were previously challenging with traditional still lenses or cine lenses.
The AF Cine Line, which embodies Sigma’s latest technology, expands the
possibilities of visual expression and brings new possibilities to future film
production.

Advanced optical design and outstanding rendering performance

The optical systems of the Sigma 28-45mm T2 FF and Sigma 28-105mm T3
FF incorporate the designs of the highly acclaimed still lenses: the Sigma 28-
45mm F1.8 DG DN | Art and the Sigma 28-105mm F2.8 DG DN | Art.
Combining the experience gained through years of lens design, the latest
development technology, and the advanced manufacturing techniques of
Sigma's sole production base, the Aizu factory, these lenses deliver
exceptional resolution and beautiful bokeh regardless of focal length or
focus position, along with a sharp, clean look with minimal flare and
ghosting.

Professional-grade mechanical design and operability

Inheriting the rendering performance and reliability of Sigma’s Art lenses,
the AF Cine Line integrates cinema-style mechanics and operability,
optimized for professional cinema production. It features a limited-rotation
focus ring, industry-standard 0.8M pitch gears, and a clickless aperture ring
to meet industry demands.

AF system with excellent tracking capability and near-silent operation

Equipped with a linear motor HLA (High-response Linear Actuator), the
Sigma AF Cine Line captures intense movements in action scenes, rapid
focus shifts in gimbal or handheld shooting, and unpredictable moments in
documentaries without missing a split second, providing reliable support
for filmmakers in various shooting situations.

Een constante T1.3 over het hele bereik maakt een extreem kleine scherptediepte en vloeiende bokeh mogelijk. Het onderwerp wordt prachtig losgemaakt van de achtergrond, zonder dat het natuurlijke gevoel van diepte verloren gaat. Zo wordt de kijker subtiel maar doeltreffend het beeld ingetrokken.

Enorm brandpuntbereik

De Aizu Prime Line dekt een volledig bereik van 18mm tot 125mm. De eerste 8 objectieven (25mm tot 75mm) worden gevolgd door de 18mm en 21mm groothoeklenzen en 100mm en 125mm teleobjectieven. Deze complete serie maakt uiteenlopende beeldcomposities en filmische stijlen mogelijk.

Volledig consistente look

Uniformiteit in kleurweergave, contrast en flare zorgt voor een visuele eenheid over alle brandpuntsafstanden. Hierdoor ontstaat een harmonisch geheel in elke scène, van 18mm tot 125mm.

De royale beeldcirkel van 46,3mm biedt volledige dekking voor full-frame, Super 35 én moderne grootformaatcamera’s zoals de ARRI ALEXA LF Open Gate en VistaVision. Perfect voor flexibele, compromisloze filmproducties.

Dankzij de korte minimale scherpstelafstand kunnen krachtige close-ups worden gemaakt. Hiermee creëer je visuele spanning en dramatiek, met extra diepgang in het beeld.

Compact ontwerp voor maximale creativiteit

Ondanks de grootformaatdekking en de snelle T1.3-opening zijn de Aizu Prime-objectieven verrassend licht van gewicht - niet zwaarder dan 1.7kg. Daarnaast hebben ze allemaal een diameter van 95mm en een lengte van maximaal 128.8mm. Deze zeldzame combinatie van snelheid en mobiliteit maakt ze uitermate geschikt voor moderne producties, van dolly en steadicam tot gimbal en handheld gebruik.

Nauwkeurige bediening en robuustheid

Ondersteuning voor ZEISS eXtended Data

De Aizu Prime-objectieven ondersteunen ZEISS eXtended Data, waardoor lensmetadata in real time beschikbaar zijn tijdens opnames. Daarnaast kunnen vervormings- en vignetteringsdata geëxporteerd worden. Dat laatste vereenvoudigt de workflows in VFX-producties aanzienlijk.

De hoofdredacteuren en technische redacteuren van deze publicaties vormen samen deze organisatie. Sinds 1991 reikt TIPA onderscheidingen uit in verschillende sectoren binnen de imaging-industrie. In 2018 werd de naam van de onderscheiding gewijzigd in de TIPA World Awards om de huidige samenstelling van de organisatie, haar publicaties én de wereldwijde invloed van de TIPA-onderscheidingen te weerspiegelen.
