Exciting news for photographers using mirrorless Canon RF cameras! In July of this year, SIGMA will launch its first lens featuring the RF Mount, the SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary. Later this year, starting from autumn, we will introduce another five lenses with the RF Mount.

The five RF Mount lenses that SIGMA will release after July 2024 include the 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary and a set of four lightweight F1.4 primes; ideal for photographers who want to keep their equipment small and light without compromising on image quality. These are the SIGMA 16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, the SIGMA 23mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, the SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, and the SIGMA 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary. All these lenses guarantee high-quality optical performance from wide open aperture and provide a rich bokeh effect.

The addition of these six lenses enables photographers to enjoy the high performance and quality of SIGMA lenses in their original Mount on their Canon RF Mount system. SIGMA has specifically developed a control algorithm, including AF drive and communication speed optimization, for the Canon RF Mount. In addition to achieving fast AF, the lenses also support AF-C (Continuous AF), in-camera aberration correction, and in-camera image stabilization.

The mount of each lens is rubber-sealed to ensure that photographers can make optimal use of the lenses even in challenging situations and environments.
